Seniors Real Estate Specialists help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property, managing the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate, obtaining a reverse mortgage, moving to a senior community and other issues affecting the aging population. By earning the SRES designation, I have demonstrated the knowledge, experience and expertise to be a seniors real estate specialist.

Today's seniors want someone who can provide information that families need to determine their options. For example, is it better to sell the family home and move to an assisted living facility, an apartment, a smaller house ----- or might the family's needs be better served by adapting the current home for senior living? Whatever the reason, I will meet their special needs with reliable market-based services which help seniors maximize value in selling their home and taking care of all the details and negotiations for them.

The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council tracks special needs of senior property owners and provides education to realtors who make seniors an important focus of their business. The SRES designation was introduced in 1997 and is nationally recognized. Only a small percentage of real estate professionals have received this special designation.
